21 High School (VGS) students had an excellent THIMUN (The Hague Model United Nations) conference last week where they represented the United States of America. The 53rd edition of THIMUN was a very special one. For the first time in its history the conference was hosted online and for the first time one of our ISS students was chosen to be the Secretary General. Congratulations, Bhuvi, for this big achievement! In the comments section you can watch a video of the opening ceremony including Bhuvi’s speech. In total 1800 students were divided into different forums where important international issues were debated during the 5-day conference. A big thank you to Ms. Popinchalk and Mr. Næss for giving our students this wonderful international academic experience.
