We could not celebrate Norway’s Constitution Day by taking part in the traditional grand parade but we kept the festive spirit on ISS campus. nor could the youngest students go in a cheerful ‘barnetog’ on our grounds. But we did our best to experience the festive atmosphere on Friday, 15th May as the ‘Norway Day’.
Many students dressed in red, blue and white or traditional Norwegian ‘bunad’ or their own national dress. This week EC/PS students were learning new facts about the country they live in and creating lovely 17th May decorations. And during the MS virtual assembly 8th grade First Language/Native Norwegian students read excerpts of their 17th May Speeches!
