International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

ISS offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme through the University of Cambridge for students in Grades 9 and 10.

The IGCSE programme is an internationally recognised qualification for this age group and similar to national qualifications in many European countries. It promotes international mindedness, understanding and critical thinking.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme

In Grades 11 and 12, students follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, which is internationally recognised as an excellent preparation for university studies.

ISS is the only international school in Stavanger with more than 20 years of experience delivering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Our results in internal examinations are consistently above average. The school’s record of achievement is directly related to the excellent quality of our teachers and programme.
