A Norwegian citizen turned ‘global citizen,’ Eirik works for the United Nations. He helps strengthen the partnership between the UNDP and Nordic countries as part of its mission to reduce poverty and inequalities around the world. Eirik shared, “ISS’ academic programme was an excellent preparation for my current work…the subjects I studied offered perspectives and insight that I have drawn on in a UN-context.” Furthermore, “ISS paved the way for opportunities I otherwise likely would not have pursued, and opened doors both intellectually and practically.” We are so proud of Eirik and his contributions to our global village.
