Nominated by a Maine State Senator for his appointment to West Point, Cadet Josh Burns had the honour of carrying the flag for the state of Maine at the Academy’s ‘4th of July’ celebration. Josh is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and playing ice hockey at West Point, ranked #1 for top public schools by the 2018 U.S. News and World Report. His parents shared, “We know the 5 years he spent at ISS gave him a unique international experience that helped him be competitive to receive an appointment to the Academy.” Well done, Josh!
