Alumni Spotlight: David Husband (’02-04)

From a Harvard Law School grad and White House intern to a vice-chair with the American Bar Association and senior attorney with the Federal Reserve System, David has become an expert in cybersecurity and privacy law since his time at ISS in the early 2000s. He also gives back to his local community by serving on an information-technology commission advising Arlington County’s (Washington DC area) Open Data Advisory Group. Since his involvement, Arlington has been named the top digital county nationwide two years running due to its civic engagement and open government project. Remarkable, David! He said ISS helped nurture a curious and critical spirit and he appreciates that his classes focused on trying to develop a deeper sense of why things happen.
