The 2025-2026 school year is officially underway! On Friday, we celebrated our new beginning with a whole-school assembly that brought our entire community – students, staff, and parents – together.
Our Senior Class of 2026 was welcomed in a special procession led by Einar the Viking, a great reminder that our whole school is here to support them through their final year. The energy was incredible as our new Director, Simon Gillespie, and a student/teacher band performed “Have It All,” with everyone singing along.
The assembly also featured a touching read-aloud of “The Grateful Book” by Angela Kohler and a fun interactive activity where students from different grades paired up to share what they love most about ISS. We wrapped up the morning with a video montage celebrating our school’s 60th anniversary.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! Here’s to a year filled with learning, growth, and community.
